Teff grass seeds is safe when consumed in moderation. Excessive consumption may result in adverse effects/ reactions. People with zinc and calcium deficiencies should not consume Teff in large amounts. This is a HIGH FIBER food-excessive consumption may cause bloating/ gas (hydrate well). Teff contains a high amount of phytic acid which can inhibit your mineral absorption.
