Our covers are made of ABS plastic which is known for its rigidness, strength, and chemical resistance. it has great impact resistance, rigidness, strength and is structurally sturdy. This material, due to its supreme properties, is used to make keyboard and laptop keys, toys, Lego blocks, face guards, vacuum cleaners, food processors, shavers, refrigerator liners, appliance control panels, toasters, irons, and various components in automobiles. It shows great resistance towards corrosive chemicals and is NON-TOXIC. It is relatively harmless and there are no signs of carcinogens in ABS thermoplastic. To date, there hasn’t been a single incident recorded related to harm caused by ABS, meaning it’s safe for use.
The mesh is made of 316 stainless-steel. It is a durable and easy to clean. Grade 316 stainless steel is designed for extreme environments or for when you require stronger protection and corrosion resistance than stainless steel under the 300 series. 316 grade stainless steel is commonly used in the manufacturing of furnace pieces, jet engines, etc. but overall, grade 316 is usually the better choice when making food-grade stainless steel containers as it's more chemically resistant in a variety of applications, and especially when dealing with salt and more acidic compounds such as lemon or tomato juice.
